Cool down in sight

An end to the mid summer temperatures we have seen in early September is in sight.

Friday will be more of the same, a high temp around 90, heat index around 99, dew point as high as 75, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast. There’s a 50 percent chance of rain overnight.

Saturday will be cooler, with a high of 82 and a low of 63. That trend will continue Sunday with a high of 79 and a high Monday, Labor Day, of 80.
