The National Weather Service has issued an extreme cold warning for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.
The warning is set to be in effect from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday.
The warning text says wind chill values could drop to -40 during the warning period.
A extreme cold watch will follow the warning, running from 1 p.m., Friday to noon, Saturday.
