Rain, snow rain/snow expected Wednesday

Rain snow and a combination of those are in the latest, local National Weather Service forecast for Wednesday.

Falling temperatures through the day means it will be rain first (before 5 a.m.) then rain/snow and later snow. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

That cooling trend is expected to continue through coming days, bottoming out over the weekend when high temps are still expected to be in single digits.

Longer term yet, temps may be back over 30 by Tuesday.
