
The first forecast sub freezing temperatures of the season have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a freeze warning for the southern half of Wisconsin, including Kenosha County.
The freeze warning is set to be in effect from 2 to 9 a.m., Friday.
The latest, local NWS forecast calls for a low of 30 here during the warning period.
From the warning text: “Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.”
