At 3:13 p.m., Wheatland Vol Fire Department, Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue and Randall Fire Department units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a report of a possible structure fire in the 5000 block of 376th Avenue in Wheatland.
UPDATE about 3:15 p.m. — Dispatch reported this may be trees on fire.
UPDATE 3:22 p.m. — Wheatland command on the scene reports burn pile located on a driveway. Slows response for all incoming units. Will check subdivision for other possible sources.
UPDATE 3:26 p.m. — Wheatland command confirms fire was from burn pile. Release all other units except one incoming Wheatland unit from responding.
