The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the portion of the Fox River in Kenosha County.
As of 10 p.m., Monday, the river as measured at the New Munster gauge was at 10 feet. Flood stage is 11 feet.
The current forecast for the river has it exceeding flood stage by noon Tuesday and peaking at 12.7 feet around midnight Thursday.
