Wind chill advisory issued

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.

The wind chill advisory is set to be in effect until 10 a.m., Sunday.

Wind chill values of 20 to 25 below zero are expected during the advisory period. Wind chill that cold can cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes, says NWS.

Saturday’s high temp is expected to reach 8; Saturday’s low will be around 1, says the latest, local NWS forecast.
