Scott Garland is not running for re-election as Paddock Lake village trustee in the April election.
Garland made the announcement at last week’s committee of the whole meeting.
Garland explained that ongoing family commitments lead to his decision. The same commitments have caused to him to miss some recent meetings.
Garland has served as a village trustee since 2019.
