July 26, 2022 lake test results: PHLA and Camp Lake under swim caution

The Paddock Hooke Lakes Association beach on Paddock Lake and Camp Lake are under swim cautions after testing by Kenosha County Public Health on Monday showed elevated E.coli levels there.

The State Department of Health recommends posting warnings at beaches when test results indicate a E.coli level of 235/100mL or more and closing a beach when test results exceed E.coli 1000/100mL.

The test results that triggered the cautions were:

  • PHLA – 488 E.coli/100 mL
  • Camp Lake – 387 E.coli/100 mL

Both sites were scheduled to be retested Tuesday.
