Heat advisory issued; storm possible Monday afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for most of Wisconsin including Kenosha County.

The advisory is set to be in effect from 11 a.m., Tuesday to 8 p.m., Wednesday.

Temperatures in the mid-90s and heat index values to 105 are expected during the advisory period.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the 80s through Sunday, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.

Back on Monday, there’s a chance we could see a strong or maybe even severe thunderstorm this afternoon.
