At about 12:48 p.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a report of a fire in the 22200 block of 75th Street (Highway 50) in Salem Lakes.
Per dispatch: This grass fire is reported to be in a field, away from any structures.
UPDATE 1 p.m. — Personnel on scene estimate size of fire to be about a quarter mile.
