
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.
The watch is in effect until 8 p.m.
A tornado watch means severe weather that could produce a tornado is possible during the watch period.
A tornado watch also is in effect for most of the counties along the Wisconsin-Illinois border. About the the northern half of Illinois is also under the watch.
UPDATE 8:08 p.m. — The NWS has let the tornado watch expire.
