
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the Fox River in Western Kenosha County.
The watch comes ahead of as much as 3 inches of rain over the next couple of days, says the latest, local NWS weather forecast
The current river forecast calls for the river to be at flood stage of 11 feet Monday afternoon and crest at 12.8 feet Wednesday afternoon.
At 10 p.m., Saturday, the river was at 9.62 feet as measured at the New Munster gauge.
