Fox River continues to recede; flood warning remains in effect

The Fox River continues to recede.

At 6 p.m., Saturday, the river as measured at the New Munster gauge was at 12.16 feet. The current National Weather Service forecast for the river calls for it to be back under flood stage of 11 feet by Monday morning.

A flood warning continues.

A 40 percent chance of rain returns to the NWS forecast Monday night.
