Fox River crests at 12.46 feet; flood warning remains in effect

The Fox River as measured at the New Munster gauge crested Friday morning at 12.46 feet.

At 6 p.m. the river was at 12.43 feet. Flood stage is 11 feet.

A National Weather Service flood warning remains in effect.

The NWS river forecast calls for the river to be back under flood stage Monday morning. A 50 percent chance of rain returns to the latest, local NWS forecast.
