The Fox River as measured at the New Munster gauge crested at 11.27 feet early Monday morning and is now receding.
The river was measuring at 11.19 feet as of 1 p.m. The current National Weather Service forecast calls for the river to be back under flood stage of 11 feet by Wednesday morning.
