A Fox River that is now above flood stage has prompted a National Weather Service flood warning.
The Fox, as measured at the New Munster gauge, exceeded flood stage of 11 feet at 8 a.m., Sunday. The latest forecast calls for a crest of 11.25 feet on Monday afternoon.
After a 50 percent chance of rain Sunday night, the forecast is clear of precipitation until at least Wednesday night.
