Spring election 2020: Bristol to have contested election for trustee

Bristol voters will have a contested election for village trustee on the spring election ballot.

Three people filed candidacy papers by Tuesday’s deadline. They are: incumbents Ruth Atwood and Carolyn Owens and newcomer Chris Leker.

The candidate with the top two vote totals will fill the two available seats.

This year’s spring election is April 7.
