Impromptu snow spurs winter weather advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the most southeastern corner of Wisconsin, including Western Kenosha County.

The advisory is for a band of lake effect snow moving inland from Lake Michigan. The forecast calls for less than a half inch in our area, but perhaps more to the east.

At 7:45 p.m., Paddock Lake is getting snow and has been for a while.

The advisory is in effect until 11 p.m., Sunday.
