Winter weather advisory issued

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, with a forecast of a little more snow than earlier thought for Sunday night and Monday.

The advisory is set to be in effect until 3 p.m., Monday.

The latest, local NWS forecast calls for 1 to 2 inches overnight and 1 to 3 inches Monday for a total of as much as 5 inches.

While we have not felt the brunt of recent snows, this time the most snowfall is expected along the Wisconsin-Illinois border, the weather advisory says.
