Home and Community Education’s Crosstown Neighbors Club is sponsoring a Basket Making Class, Nov. 11 and 18, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day.
Cost: $10 Registration. A $25 Materials Fee will be payable to instructor on night of class.
The class will focus on a Tall Christmas Tree Basket. This basket is woven on a tall “D” handle and is woven with accent dyed reed at the bottom and top, the center of the basket is woven with natural reed. After the basket is finished students will create a reed tree topped with wooden star and wood hearts and buttons as ornaments. This basket will become a favorite for the holiday season. Basket measures 8” square by 13 1/2” tall, not including the handle.
Instructor is Sandy Bulgrin. Location is Kenosha County Center, Room A, 19600 75th St., Bristol.
