Eight dollars all day for a bag of books. This all-day $8.00 for a bag of books, cds and dvds, is a first for the quarterly book sales sponsored by the Friends of Community Library.
Usually that bargain is only offered in the final hour of the sale. The sale has an abundance of books, featuring children’s books, and fiction and nonfiction for adults. A wide choice of CDs are also available.
The book sale will be held at the Community Library, 110 South Lake St., in Twin Lakes on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friends may shop early from 10 until 11 a.m. The general public is welcome from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
A Friends membership may be purchased on the day of the sale for $5. Don’t miss this chance to provide enjoyable reading for the children in your lives as well as picking up books by your favorite authors for yourself.
