2019 Paris School Panther Prowl coverage (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

The 14th annual Panther Prowl took place at Paris Consolidated School, 1901 176th Avenue, on a windy Saturday afternoon.

The 3rd – 5th graders walking their time.

The walk-a-thon had to be moved to the playground after the rain storms in the days preceding. Each student gathered pledges for walking a predetermined amount of time. Since it was moved to the smaller area, instead of the larger oval on the grass, they actually had to walk, no running. At times, Parry the Panther, the school mascot, walked with them. Sponsors cover the costs of the event so money raised goes back to the school and students.

One of the popular things for students to do is throw wet sponges at their principal, Mr. Roger Gahart.
Lots of bake sale items.
Many donated and student created auction items.
