Road work in Paddock Lake to begin Friday

Part A is the work on 248th Avenue. Part B is the work on 244th Avenue.

A couple of stretches of roads in Paddock Lake are set to be under construction for about a week.

From a press release from the village issued via email Wednesday:

Paddock Lake, and Payne and Dolan Asphalt will begin the 2019 Road Improvement Project on Friday October 4,2019 and will be completing the resurfacing portion of the project the week of October 7th. The purpose of this road improvement project is to mill/grind the asphalt pavement compromised by potholes and replace the surface with new pavement. Project Scope: The project scope includes, grinding/milling deteriorated pavement and resurfacing with new asphalt pavement. The project includes 248th Ave. from 66th Street North to 65th Street and 244th Ave. from 68th Street North to 67th Street. All disturbed driveways, sidewalks, streets, and lawn areas will be restored upon completion. The public and users of these roads can expect to see temporary road closures within the construction project area. Detours and road closed signs will be prominently displayed to route traffic to alternate village roads. Construction Project timeline: The project is expected to begin this Friday October 4, 2019 with substantial completion by Friday October 11, 2019.
