Racine woman charged in local THC vaping case

A Racine woman has been charged in Circuit Court in connection with a case that has also led to charges for two men and their mother from Paddock Lake in connection with an operation that authorities say manufactured illegal THC infused vaping cartridges.

Hannah J Curty, 19, of Racine was charged Thursday with Manufacture/Deliver THC (>10,000g) in Kenosha County Circuit Court, according to online court records. The charge is a felony.

Curty is the fourth person facing felony charges in connection with the case. The others are brothers Tyler Huffines, 20, Jacob Huffhines, 23 and their mother Courtney Huffhines, 43.

Authorities say the illegal vaping cartridge operation was uncovered in a Sept. 5 serving of two search warrants, one at a Bristol condo and one at the Huffhines’ Paddock Lake home. The total street value of the THC product seized in the condo is estimated by authorities to exceed $1.5 million.
