The Fox River has dropped under flood stage and the National Weather Service has cancelled a flood warning for the river.
The river as measured at the New Munster gauge dropped below flood stage of 11 feet Friday morning. At 2 p.m., the river was at 10.84 feet.
There is more rain in the local forecast. Rain and storms Saturday and Sunday could bring 1.5 to 2 inches of rain.
