
Seno K/RLT Conservancy is hosting a Chainsaw Safety Training Class on Sept. 28.
Safety and Woods Worker (S.A.W.W.)* Level I Basic Training will be conducted by instructor Nathan Stanford, Forest Safety Institute, Baraboo, on Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain or shine. (3 hrs classroom / 5 hrs outdoor hands-on).
The training will be conducted at Seno, 3606 Dyer Lake Road. Class size is 12 students.
Normal fee is $100, but a private donation has allowed Seno to reduce the fee to $40. Note: The course is free if you are willing to donate time helping to thin Seno’s forest.

What To Bring:
● Chaps and helmet (Students can borrow instructor’s equipment at no charge).
● Proper footwear: ie, steel-toe work boots.
● Dress for the weather as this is a hands-on class. Rain or shine, unless lightning or strong winds are in the forecast.
● Pack a lunch.
● Chainsaws – If you have a chainsaw, bring it. If you don’t, instructor will lend one.
