Units responding for fire in Bristol

At about 7:14 a.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units are responding to Highway 50 near the Highway MB-north intersection for a report of a grass fire.

Per dispatch: Fire is reported to be south of the eastbound lanes of Highway 50.

UPDATE 7:16 a.m. — Deputy on scene says he has located a controlled burn in the area. Fire units continuing to respond on a non-emergency basis.

UPDATE 7:18 a.m. — Fire units returning to quarters.
