Fox River approaching 13 feet; flood warning in effect

The latest National Weather Service forecast for the Fox River in Western Kenosha County is calling for a crest over 13 feet.

The latest crest is projected to come at 13.3 feet by early Sunday morning as measured at the New Munster gauge. Flood stage is 11 feet. At 8 a.m., Saturday, the river was at 12.89 feet.

A flood warning is in effect for the river.
