Slow no wake ordered in Twin Lakes

Lakes Mary and Elizabeth are under a slow no wake order after heavy rains this week.

At 10:30 a.m., Friday, the lake was measuring at 794.9. The lake will have to drop below 794.5 before the order can be lifted.

Here’s a graph showing the drastic increase in lake level this week as measured by the US Geological Service:

Slow no wake means any watercraft used on the lake must travel slow enough to not cause a wake.
