The Paddock Hooker Lake Association beach will remain under swim caution this weekend after re-sampling there on Wednesday showed an elevated E.coli level.
The State Department of Health recommends posting warnings at beaches when test results indicate an E.coli level of 235/100mL or more and closing a beach when test results exceed E.coli 1000/100mL.
The resampling result for PHLA was 365 E.coli/100 mL. Testing is performed by the Kenosha County Division of Health.
The beach was not scheduled for resampling before the long Labor Day weekend.
