At about 1:17 p.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue units are responding for a report of a down wire in the 24300 block of 84th Street in Salem.
Per dispatch: Wire had lit grass on fire. Fire appears to be out now, but wire is across a driveway.
UPDATE 1:22 p.m. — Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue dispatched to another apparently separate call at 8400 245th Avenue for a tree on fire.
UPDATE 1:28 p.m. — We Energies says there are 179 customers without power in the vicinity of these incidents.
