One of the new attractions was the caboose. It’s been sitting there for years, but it was open for tours. Bill and Linda Breault are working on restoring the train car. It has been damaged by vandals, graffiti and neglect.

Bill has worked in rail transport: freight and passengers. He explains about the history of a caboose, this particular caboose, and trains in general.

The caboose was donated by Bill Porps. The Twin Lakes Area Chamber is accepting donations to help pay for restoration. One of the next things it needs is a roof.
