2019 Daily Kenosha County Fair Preview: This fair has music, music, music

The music lover will have daily reasons to attend the Kenosha County Fair.

A variety of acts coming to the Creekside Stage should mean most everyone finds something they can tap their foot — or bob their head — to.

Here’s the lineup:

  • Wednesday, Aug. 14: The Southport Sound Polka Band at 2 p.m.; Junior Amateur Talent Competition at 5:30 p.m.; BLUE STEEL, Country music from the 90’s to today.
  • Thursday, Aug. 15: KR Bluegrass Band, 2 p.m., Wisconsin Bluegrass at its best; The Cheap Shots, 7:30 p.m., one of the BEST and most entertaining cover bands, playing everything from Rush to Usher.
  • Friday, Aug. 16: August Hotel, 3 p.m., Chicago Indie Pop band performing a variety of original music and alternative genre covers; The Now Band, 8:30 p.m., an established, touring level rock and roll cover band that brings an arena concert experience to the local stage. 
  • Saturday, Aug. 17: The Mackenzie O’Brien Band, noon, featuring a mix of Country, Indie, and Original Music; Bella Cain, 8:30 p.m., the hottest Top 40 country band in the area.
  • Sunday, Aug. 18, Doo-Wop Daddies, noon, the best Doo-Wop this side of Heaven; Class of ’62, 3:30 p.m., a classic Rock n Roll band, that has been performing the Midwest region for over 20 years. Class of 62 not only performs hits but pays tribute to great artists such as: Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, and many more.

The Kenosha County Fair runs from Aug. 14-18.
