The Western Kenosha County Tennis Association Rally for Life cancer fundraiser continues today at the Central High School tennis courts.
Six years ago the WKCTA board decided it needed a cause that touched many of us and others in the area. In its first 5 years, the Rally for Life raised nearly $15,000 for the American Cancer Society and has collected many school supplies for the Sharing Center.
The schedule of events reamining for Saturday are:
6-9 a.m. Wooden Racquet Tournament with Breakfast at Westosha: No need to register in advance, just show up. Grab a partner and play in a “old-style” tennis tournament complete with white tennis balls. Breakfast available.
9 a.m. –noon 8-10 and 11-14 old Doubles Tournament: Registration Required.
noon-1p.m. Closing Ceremony: Check Presentation, Pictures, Awards.
