The 2019 Fourth of July Silver Lake Boat Parade will take place July 4 starting at 1 p.m. on the water of Silver Lake.

Participants can dress up their body and boat, personal water craft or kayak and join the fun. Boats meet on the lake in front of Silver Lake Marina. There will be a lead boat. The parade is once around the lake. Prizes are handed out afterwards.

This year, prizes will awarded for best boat honoring the Navy and best boat display of super heroes.

Jason & Kristy Wallner are the lead boat. They will start you out in front of the Judges and then once around the lake. Judges will then enter the parade and will cut off to get to the end of the parade so they can once again view the boats. Prize winners will be notified by email or text. Prizes must be picked up at the Marina before they close. Rain or shine the Parade goes on…(thunder & lightening, not so much. Please make sure your decoration are tied on tight. All are invited to participate. So grab your boat, your kayak, your PWC, your dingy, strap on a flag on join in the fun. The parade goes on rain or shine (thunder and lightning no so much). Please secure your decorations so they do not end up in the lake.
