Local fire departments responding for mutual aid to Somers

At about 8:04 p.m., Western Kenosha County fire departments are among those responding for a box alarm activated by Somers Fire and Rescue for a structure fire in the 400 block of 100th Avenue in Somers.

Among the local departments responding are Bristol Fire and Rescue, Paris Fire and Rescue, Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue and Randall Fire Department. Other departments responding include Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue, Kenosha Fire Department and South Shore Fire Department.

UPDATE 8:10 p.m. — Somers command cancels box alarm response.

UPDATE 8:15 p.m. — Kenosha County Fire Investigation Task Force members requested to respond to the scene.
