The Wilmot Raceway will proudly host an IRA/All Star Challenge Event, featuring Tony Stewart on Friday, May 17.

The local stars of the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series will take on the travelers of the Ollies Bargain Outlet/Mobil 1 All Star Circuit of Champions in a rare Friday night race date at Wilmot Raceway. 3-time

NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart will make only his second ever Wilmot appearance, having competed in a USAC Sprint Car event at Wilmot nearly twenty years ago. Tony’s last two scheduled Wilmot appearances were cancelled, first due to injury, and then by weather in 2017.

Some other All Star contenders include defending series champion Aaron Reutzel (TX), multi-time IRA / All Star Wilmot winner Dale Blaney (OH), 2-time All Star Champion Greg Wilson (OH), Cory Eliason (CA), Paul McMahan
(TN), Brock Zearfoss (PA), plus Spencer Bayston, Cale Conley, Skylar Gee, and more.

The IRA will be led by 8-time series champ “The North Pole Nightmare” Bill Balog, defending series champ Jake Blackhurst, 2-time IRA champ Scotty Neitzel, 2016 champ and multi-time Wilmot champ Jeremy Schultz, plus Scotty Thiel, Russel Borland, Ben Schmidt, Kris Spitz, and many more.

Advance tickets are available for this event, and advance ticket purchasers will be allowed to enter and choose their seats early (3PM) on race day, prior to the gates being opened (4PM) for race day ticket purchases. So, while all seats are General Admission, advance ticket purchasers will have an early entry time to choose their seats. Advance ticket sales will end on Thursday, May 16th.

A 5-division night returns on May 11th leading up to the big Tony Stewart IRA / All Star Sprint Challenge on FRIDAY night May 17th.

Joining the IRA & All Star 410/winged Sprints on May 17th will be the AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints, and the IRA Lightning Sprints (formerly the WIMS 1000cc Mini Sprints). Watch www.wilmotraceway.com for more details on this major event.
