Registration open for Bristol School Peer Model program

Bristol’s Peer Model program is designed for children with and without
disabilities to learn from and form relationships with each other. The program takes place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 to 11 a.m.

The classroom consists of 3-year-old students identified with special needs, and up to five of their typically developing peers. The classroom is led by a dually certified Special Education Teacher and supported by a Special Education Classroom Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Speech and Language Therapist.

The Peer Model program is a free program. Parents are required to provide
transportation to/from the program. Children wishing to be a Peer Model must turn 3 years old by May 1st 2019 and cannot turn 4 prior to September 1st of the 2019-2020 school year.

If you have a typically developing 3-year-old child, please contact the office to register. The last screening date for this school year is May 10. If you are interested in the Peer Model Program or 4K screening, please contact Kim Rudolph at (262) 891-4016 or via email rudolph.kim@bristol.k12.wi.us to schedule an appointment.
