Spring election 2019: Salem School District referendum results

Early results suggest that a request to allow additional operational funding in the Salem School District has been approved by voters.

With three polls of three reporting what may be incomplete results at 9:35 p.m. votes are: Yes 958 (56%) and No 741 (44%).

The board was seeking to exceed the levy limit by $1.5 million to help support the 2019-2020 budget (in addition to the $1,070,000 already authorized in a 2017 referendum), by $3 million for 2020-2021, and by $3.6 million for 2021-2022.

UPDATE 10:20 p.m. — These appear to be complete unofficial results.
