At about 12:27 p.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a report of sparks and smoke in a home in the 24700 block of 69th Place in Paddock Lake.
Per dispatch: Caller reports seeing smoke and sparks coming form an electric stove while cleaning it. No flames seen.
UPDATE 12:35 p.m. — Deputy and fire unit on scene report no signs of fire showing from exterior.
