Bristol School PTA to host candidate meet and greet

The Bristol School PTA is hosting a meet and greet event for the candidates for Bristol School Board on March 12 starting at 7 p.m., at Bristol Village Hall, 19801 83rd St., Bristol.

While there are six candidates on the ballot, only two have replied to the PTA that they will participate. All six were invited by the PTA to participate. There are four board seats to be filled by the April 2 election.

Incumbents Andy Boncher and Justin Miller are expected to participate in the event. David Blair, Stephanie Butenhoff, Sue Kratowicz and Lauren Woolard have told the PTA they are not participating.

The format for the event will be each candidate will introduce themselves and talk about why they are running for the school board. The event will then be opened up to questions from the community.

The Bristol PTA does not support nor endorse any of the candidates running for the Bristol School Board, said a spokesman for the group.
