The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.
The advisory is set to be in effect from 5 p.m., Tuesday to 9 a.m., Wednesday.
During that period, we could get as much as 2 inches of snow. Another half inch or so might fall during the day Tuesday. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, the snow might be mixed with freezing rain. Winds should be 5 to 10 mph.
There are lesser chances of snow in the NWS forecast for Thursday and Friday and a greater chance Friday night.
