Fox River still on the rise; flood warning in effect

The Fox River continues to inch toward flood stage Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has a flood warning in effect.

At 6 p.m., the river was measuring at 10.98 at the New Munster gauge. Flood stage is 11 feet.

The current river forecast calls for the river the crest right at 11 feet around midnight, Thursday. The river is not expected to begin to recede until Friday morning.
