Twin Lakes recognizes retiring longtime employees Bill Kaskin and Terry Trongeau

The Twin Lakes Village Board recognized the long service of two recently retired employees at Monday’s Committee of the Whole meeting.

The board presented resolutions honoring Bill Kaskin and Terry Trongeau.

Kaskin worked for the village for 40 years, retiring as public works foreman. Here is video of village President Howard Skinner reading the resolution and Kaskin accepting his plaque and coffee cup:

Trongeau worked as an operator of the wastewater treatment plant for 24 years, retiring as the village’s head sewer operator.┬áHere is video of Skinner reading the resolution and Trongeau accepting his plaque and coffee cup:

After the meeting a reception with cake was held for family and friends of the retirees.

Kaskin and Trongeau’s successors were appointed at the Jan. 21 regular board meeting.

Stan Clause Jr. is succeeding Kaskin as public works foreman. Clause has worked for the village for 25 years. He also is the Twin Lakes Fire Department chief.

Greg Richter is succeeding Trongeau as head sewer operator. Richter has worked for the village for 13 years.
