Alliant Energy is reporting power outages affecting over 1,900 customers in the Twin Lakes area.
The outrage started about 5:50 a.m., a tipster tells westofthei.com.
Alliant says crews have been assigned to this outage.
Here is a message from the Twin Lakes Police Department about a warming center:
UPDATE 7:54 a.m. — We are getting reports that some areas of Twin Lakes have power again. Alliant says about 600 still out of power.
UPDATE 8:18 a.m. — Alliant reporting 300 customers still out of power.
UPDATE 9:27 a.m. — Alliant reports 300 customers still out of power, with crews on the scene evaluating the outage with no estimated restoration time.
UPDATE 11:18 a.m. — Alliant reporting 2 customers out of power in Twin Lakes.
