We should see some sizable snowfall Friday night into Saturday, followed by some of the coldest temperatures so far this season, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast for our area.
The forecast calls for a 90 percent chance of snow Friday night with 3 to 5 inches of accumulation. Saturday, there’s an 80 percent chance of more snow, with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible.
Then there’s the cold. Saturday night’s low is forecast for 10, Sunday’s high at 15, Sunday night’s low at 6, Monday’s high at 19 and Monday night’s low at 15.
Temperatures should recover somewhat on Tuesday with a high of 26, but there also is a 30-50 percent chance of snow Monday through Tuesday night.
UPDATE 8 a.m. — There wasn’t really snow in our forecast earlier for Thursday, but now, as it is falling in Paddock Lake, there is. Forecast says until 10 a.m.
