The Kenosha County Council, American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary are sponsoring a benefit for VetsRoll.org at the Brat Stop, Sunday, Jan. 20 at the Brat Stop, 12304 75th St. (Hwy 50 & I 94) Kenosha.
The benefit is located in the Wisconsin Room. It will take place from 1 to 4 p.m.
Kenosha County American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary, Inc. are teaming up to sponsor a benefit for VetsRoll.org, transporting 220 of America’s Senior Veterans on a 4-Day Trip to Washington, DC May 19-22, at no cost to the Veteran or “Rosie-the-Riveter.”
These groups believe it is vitally important for every WWII Veteran, “Rosie-the-Riveter” and Veterans (currently) through 1966 to have the chance to visit and experience their memorials. VetsRoll provides the long overdue gift of closure, gratitude and respect that will fill their hearts, for the incredible sacrifices they made in the name of Freedom so many years ago.
The benefit will include entertainment by The Band Trip. The event also will include raffle baskets and a cash raffle. Cash raffle drawing at 4 p.m. attendance not required. Raffle Basket drawings throughout the event; attendance required.
VetsRoll is a WI Non-Profit Corporation and is an IRS SOl(c)(3) non-profit organization. American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary, Inc. are IRS SOl( c) (19) organizations. The trip is not limited to Veterans residing in Wisconsin.
