The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for an areas of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.
Slick travel conditions are the main concern for the advisory period, which begins at 6 p.m. Monday and extends to 9 a.m., Tuesday.
Freezing drizzle is expected after 7 p.m, Monday and could continue through Tuesday morning, impacting commuting times for both Monday evening and Tuesday morning. Enough accumulation to form a light glaze could be seen, says the advisory.
According to the NWS:
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
