Free course for families and friends of persons coping with mental illness offered in Bristol

The National Alliance on Mental Illness is offering a free 12-week course for families and friends of persons coping with mental illness.  Participants will gain information on major mental illnesses, learn about skills and strategies for helping their loved ones, self care, and receive emotional support.

These classes are offered at the Kenosha County Center (Highway 45 and 50 in Bristol) on Tuesday evenings beginning Jan. 8 and run from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
